Shack PSA: GameStop Begins Massive Summer Sale

12
Those hunting for good deals will have a target-rich environment with GameStop's newly opened summer sale.

The outlet is touting "thousands" of games for sale under $20, along with special offers that will be run for a limited time. The first of such offers is a deal on Guitar Hero World Tour full band kits. Most of the packs are for sale online at a $100 reduction, while the PlayStation 3 pack is only available in stores.

Two more specials are planned, with one Wii-specific deal teased for July 22.

I second this question, I've been waiting for a cheap copy of the Wheelman since it launched.

In stores as well. Went into one today, and they had the GT:WT kit at $60, and a bunch of new titles at $20. I thought it was just a sale at the local store till I read this.

Wheelman is a decent game. I really wish they wouldn't restrict a lot of what you do. There's no blood when you shoot somebody. Actually the whole shooting is half-baked as it doesn't have a good "feel" to it. Look at Red Faction:Guerrilla or Killzone 2 to find out what I mean by that. It drove me nuts when you try to shoot an innocent that they just run off screaming and tons of cops show up.. no blood, no death. Pretty weak.

Get in a car though and it's like playing a different game! Quite fun, like a non-stop Bruckheimer film. Lots of explosions, very thin almost non-existent plot. Pick it up for a quick romp. You might get bored of it quick but for $20 you could do plenty worse..
