The Witcher Patch 1.5 Released, Removes DRM

CD Projekt RED has released patch 1.5 for The Witcher, available in a 371MB download over on FileShack, which removes the action RPG's DRM and disc check, fixes an EAX-related graphics problem, and adds five new community-created adventures.

The patch's announcement in June contained the revelation that The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut is planned for release in North America, presumably uncensoring all the nipples and other private parts that the rest of the world was allowed to enjoy.

best value in a boxed game. I have the original from when it was released and its amazing how much effort they put into their product. My hat goes off to CD Projekt RED, a gaming company for the people.

So this patch doesn't make the US version uncensored? Was anything else censored from it, or just nipples? I'm pretty sure I could live without that in the game ;)

I can't play this game for more than a few days. I'll do a chapter, then completely ignore the game for 4 months. It just doesn't have enough interesting stuff to do to keep my attention.
