Left 4 Dead 2 Gets Wicked Cricket Bat

The latest weapon added to the Left 4 Dead 2 arsenal comes in the form of a hefty cricket bat.

No doubt an homage to zombie cult hit Shaun of the Dead, the bludgeon was revealed in an image (seen left) provided by IGN.

The bat joins Valve's growing assortment of melee weapons for the sequel, including a chainsaw, frying pan and fire ax.

Set to include five new campaigns and new multiplayer features, Left 4 Dead 2 arrives this November.
