12
A fourth Resident Evil film is in the works according to a new report by ShockTillYouDrop.

The film, to be written by series producer Paul W.S. Anderson, is purportedly titled "Resident Evil: Afterlife." STYD has apparently confirmed a release date of September 17, 2010.

No other details on the film were available, though series star Milla Jovovich has apparently been hinting at a reprisal of her role as Alice.

It doesn't feel like Resident Evil anymore (not that it did a whole lot from the get go). At this point, I think of it as a completely different entity with the same name.

The first movie was pretty good for that, but the second and third were a different entity for sure.

It's not as though they can make it any worse. Besides, the games were just about as incoherent as the movies as far as plot and motive go.
