    Looking forward to it.
Using the 'target' mode seems a bit too easy - whats the downside?

      There is none.

But you can't use it until you get a classic melee kill.

And on realistic, Sam dies in two shots, so it will still be difficult.

Motherfucker. I've had a feature like this planned for months and months for a stealth mod I'm making... a kind of limited-use (also earned), VATS-esque targeting feature that can be used as a get out clause or one-off "stunt" move to alleviate that "F5 syndrome" inherent to hardcore stealth gameplay. How can they just reach into my mind and steal my ideas like this?! Bastards, lol...

If we're thinking of the same thing, you have to earn "target" mode by performing stealth kills. It can't be used all the time.

That's the "Mark and Execute" maneuver I'm talking about as needing to be earned, going by my E3 notes.

Yea this is the one I meant I think.

Did they let you try it hands on btw?

Unfortunately not. It was a hands-off demo.

looks like you have a to do a hand to hand kill to get execute. which is cool. a lot of people are saying that mark and execute is easy. but you actually have to get in there to be able to use it. you have to plan your hand to hand kill.

      It is a one-use ability.

You can "recharge" it by doing a stealth-kill.
If you use it badly you won't have much chance to do a stealth-kill since all enemies will come out charging at you (hence you are no longer stealthy)

Also you don't HAVE to use it if you don't want to which is what I plan to do on my first run-through
