Street Fighter IV PC is released on July 7, packing several new graphical filter effects and Games for Windows Live support to give achievements, online play and rankings.
Combatants curious as to how Street Fighter IV will run on their PC can test its might with the excellent SF4 benchmark tool, featuring several AI-controlled matches.

With this 10% discount, the Steam version now only costs slightly more than having a physical copy delivered to my home on release day from halfway across Europe. Oh, and it unlocks 3 days later than the retail copy would arrive.
Why do you continue to fail me, Steam? I had such high hopes for you...

The worst thing about Digital Distribution however is that one year from now I'd probably be able to pick up SF4 for about half the amount it is on release. However in the digital world, barring a random sale, prices seem to be far more static for no good reason.
Digital Distribution clearly is the future but publishers want to enjoy the benefits of cheaper distribution without passing the saving along properly to the consumer. It frustrates me too...
