Lost Planet 2 Co-op Demo Coming 'Soon'

The Xbox 360 demo for Capcom's shooter sequel Lost Planet 2, first introduced on the show floor at this year's E3, will be released to the public "soon" according to producer Jun Takeuchi.

Takeuchi mentioned the plan during an interview on Famitsu's "Midnight Live 360," a comment caught and picked up by Joystiq. The demo will feature four player co-op support.

Originally an Xbox 360 exclusive, the PlayStation 3 and PC flavors versions of Lost Planet 2 were announced during E3. The game is now set to arrive this winter.

Is this one going to have the same concept "You need to keep your heat up" or no? Always had to collect those orange blobs to stay alive?

Very awesome news. Though it did have a few downfalls I really enjoyed the first lost planet. And since it doesn't look like this one will have that whole heat thing it makes me really look forward to this one. And the co-op is a deffinate bonus. Been awhile since a decent co-op game has been released..
