LittleBigPlanet Gets 'Sacktue of Liberty' DLC

3
Fresh off its recent offering of the free Solstice-celebrating "beardy druid fellow costume," developer Media Molecule has revealed that LittleBigPlanet will also commemorate July 4.

Said to be available for a limited time, the "Sacktue of Liberty" costume will enable those that own the PlayStation 3 platformer to run around and enlighten the world of LittleBigPlanet with liberty and comedic hijinks.

Look for the free download to arrive in the PlayStation Store this Thursday, July 2.

Thank goodness that all of the major gaming news outlets have jumped on this hot piece of information. After all, it isn't often that a game releases downloadable content consisting of one costume.

And thank goodness you're here to criticise them for it. My, whatever would we do without you.

I guess I will never understand why some people get so upset about a gaming news site posting news related to a game.

A news site posting news? OUTRAGEOUS!

I think bofubutt is trying to make the point that this is not in fact newsworthy as compared to say, an actual release of a game. Or a video of one. Or sneaky mobile phone screen grab from a unreleased magazine. Or anything for that matter.

Basically, an article about a pointless DLC for a game of little or no value is the hallmark of a slow news day. Let's get back to reaming Blizzard for it's insane lack of LAN support, rather than this piffle.
