Trine Available for Steam Preorder: $30, Includes Bonus Copy of Shadowgrounds

Following the release of an impressive demo for Frozenbyte's very attractive action-platformer Trine, the PC version is now available for preorder on Steam.

Trine will cost $30 on the service--as opposed to the reported $40 retail pricetag--and will include a free copy of Frozenbyte's co-op, run-and-gun shooter Shadowgrounds as a preorder bonus. A PlayStation 3 version of the title is expected to be released in weeks, while Atlus is planning to bring the downloadable game to Xbox 360 later this year.

As for the release date of the PC version, publisher Nobilis yesterday announced a July 3 release date, though some retailers are still listing the European retail version for July 10. Shacknews has contacted Nobilis and Frozenbyte for comment on the confusion.

30 euros here. Fuck Steam in the ass.

I'll get it for the right price elsewhere.
