Shack PSA: Weekend Deals on Might and Magic, HAWX
by Nick Breckon, Jun 26, 2009 12:17pm PDTThose that enjoy a little might with their magic are in luck, as this week's biggest download deal is Steam's Heroes Pack.
The pack throws in Dark Messiah Might and Magic, Heroes of Might and Magic V, Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate, and Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East. Total cost to you: $20.
As we previously reported, Steam is also offering ACE Team's first-person puncher Zeno Clash for $10 this weekend to mark the release of free new content for the title.
In other deal news, GoGamer is offering Tom Clancy's HAWX for $30, F.E.A.R. for $8, and Rise of the Argonauts $13. And for those looking to pay more for shipping than for their weekend deal, Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2 for the Mac can be hilariously had for a buck.
The rest of web retail is slim pickings. Age of Conan is selling for half-off on Direct2Drive, a decent $10 price for anyone looking to check out the new content, while Impulse has Ino-Co's turn-based strategy game Elven Legacy for $10.

The difference for some people is that one might charge sales tax for their state, while the other doesn't. Steam charges tax for me :(
