Age of Conan Gets Largest-ever Update
In addition to the new region of Tarantia, which the developer says will add "several hours" worth of content, the game has also seen fundamental changes to its item and questing systems. "Items now have statistics that are easier to understand and that are more similar to what you find in similar MMO games," wrote Funcom on MMORPG.com. "With items being more important, questing and raiding will turn out to be a lot more rewarding than before."
Other changes include the addition of PvP minigame experience, population growth in player cities, social pets, and a reworking of the gem system.

People still play this? I thought they'd closed the servers or announced bankruptcy or something.
Or did they just consolidate? Anyways..The only reason I enjoyed that game for the brief week or two I played was the idea behind the combat system. Oh and boobies.-

Yep this is the reason it did so well at launch only to take a nose dive shortly afterwards. It wasn't horrible for a generic MMO though, what really killed it for the people who stuck around was the grind. After the 40s the quests totally dry up and you spend half the time just straight exp grinding from that point on. Releasing an MMO with a longer level grind than your content can cover is inexcusable IMO.
