btw you could damage the opponent before the countdown was totally over in ra2... it was a matter of timing and surprise :) dunno how it works on utra though, haven't tried it, just got my computer back. don't feel like reinstalling anything.

Well, try LMS. Make sure you change the fraglimit from 30 to like 15 or 10 though. The fraglimit in LMS is how many deaths your allowed. Once you use up all your deaths, you're out. Last Man Standing wins.

83 - can't say. I haven't played it myself, but I'd say that if you liked Last Man Standing, which in a way is a twist on RA, then you'll like Rocket Arena. I don't like UT one on one, but LMS owns me (as you may have read in my previous posts).

If you have free time like I did, go download the stuff while you can. Not that it's going anywhere, but atleast you'll get to play it some.

WTF? The UTRA bots are totally braindead, even on Godlike mode.... it was like shooting a dumb turkey; they only fired occasionally. This is messed up, hehe.

I waited for the UT 413 patch and Rocket Arena itself, getting about 1.9k/sec on them average. Surely you can wait as well.

Eh... I'm reading the readme and (A) Greenmarine has some grammatical errors (oooooooooooooooooooh, scandalous) and (B) It seems as if this is a RAUT beta. Half the game modes, and no compatibility with mutators.

There's also no Redeemer support... Quake II had BFG10K support though. It should be in there for the hell of it, but only with one nuke. You could always vote it out, right?

This is pretty cool stuff. :) I really enjoyed Quake2 RA2, so I was really waiting for this release. I was always too lazy to install v413, but I just did and everything went smoothly, including the install of Rocket Arena. I've only played it for about 2 minutes so far (lol), but so far it looks good.

The Quake III Rocket Arena is getting the back of the bus, haha. CRT likes UT better so he worked on it first, but he feels obliged to make Q3RA so no one calls him a sellout or anything, so he's gonna start working more on that now.

Oh, and baron_calamity - try addbot Alarik or addbot Cryss or any other's bot's name/s (including one you may have created) and it should work. I haven't tried it yet - I'm only at 42% right now, downloading at 2.5k/sec.

(sorry, my 3 isn't working except for on the keypad, so I can't put in a pound sign unless I copy and paste it and I'm too lazy to, even though I could have while I was typing this sentence, oh well. I like cheese.)

I can't wait to get off while playing UTRA (what, no one else orgasms over mods?).

Has anyone complained about the Glide capability with 413? I am still at 400 because when I tried installing the 402 patch it asked for my CD, which my friend still hasn't returned. And even if it didn't ask for the CD, I need to find a 413 CD crack (loads faster and I hate fumbling around for CDs...and again my friend has mine). That and I don't wanna mess up what's already working.

RocketArenaUT.zip is almost done. YAY. Hopefully it'll work with 400.

RA:UT seems pretty decent. Except it has a dumb ass stats screen in the middle of my view. Showing my my name & how much life I have. Not the best place to put it Epic. Maybe somehwere on the side of the screen instead of the middle. Think about it.

Okay, I'm not trying to be controversial or anything, but just what's so special about one-on-one, anyway? I guess I'm missing something here.

The reason why I'd download Rocket Arena? To play the maps, plain and simple. I've no real interest (right now) in one-on-ones and two-on-twos...I'm assuming that one could just rename an RA-Mapname to DM-Mapname, and it'd work, correct?
