The poor soul just wanted some rest and relaxation, but no matter where he went--the Orient express, an English manor house, New York, a sleepy Maine fishing village--murders and mysteries were abound. He ended up spending his time dashing around questioning suspects and searching for clues rather than burning to a crisp and wearing straw hats daubed with amusing slogans as he should have been. Bless his little white cotton socks.
Consensus: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a noisy, underplotted, and overlong special effects extravaganza that lacks a human touch.
It's a movie about giant fucking robots from another planet. And it lacks a human touch.

Anyways it was established in the first movie they should use sabot rounds and they loaded up with 40mm grenade launchers at the end. I haven't seen the movie yet so there's a lack of context. If anything this review makes me want to see it to see what he says is true, the review didn't seem detailed enough and it was mostly a rant.
