Chinatown wars on PSP, nice!

I completed the game and I don't think there's any particular element of the touch controls that was at all integral to the gameplay. None of that stuff would be difficult at all to do with an analog nub and face buttons. I really enjoyed the touch screen stuff, but I would have enjoyed the game pretty much equally without it.

I don't see why I should have to endure a 3" screen when I have a 50" one at my disposal.
If I'm playing games it's at 24" or 50" these are the only times I play games, I don't play games on the go and so when I'm in a gaming mood, I'm at home with these huge displays at my disposal :(
I have enough trouble with size challenges as it is, I don't see why I need to endure it more at home.-

I think the PSP version of resistance is the only one that supports the DS3 but you need to have the PSP plugged into your PS3 while using the DS3. The video will still be displayed on the PSP (or TV if you have it set for TV out).
Now with the PSP Go you'll be able to sync a DS3 to it via bluetooth but I don't think they've said if it will work with all PSP games or only games designed to support it. -
Someone posted the new PSP Go will support DS3. that post made it seem like you can use it with the PSP Go but I didn't realize it was mainly for playing on the TV which makes more sense. Though I don't think I'd be one for playing my handheld game on a TV with the handheld feeding the TV.
Though I remember that thing Nintendo had for the SNES I believe that lets you play Gameboy games through an adapter that was neat.
And now I remember some product was made before the PSP has video out or something that basically mounts a camera over the screen to output to a TV for the PSP-1000. -

and you need a copy of Resistance 2 in the PS3 in order to do this.

It doesn't seem to take you much to interest you for a PS3 but more so for a PSP?
I have and play more games on my PSP than I do on my PS3.
Patapon 1/2, Jeanne D'Arc, FF: Tactics, Lunibes 2, and Killzone Liberation off the top of my head.
My friend was supposed to give me his copy of Navy SEALs. He also has a modded PSP to play SNES games and junk too. He made good use of it when he was sitting in Iraq.-

You seem to imply single games in the past being a system seller for the PS3 yet the PSP needs to have more of a critical mass. I got the PS3 basically for the MGS4 bundle since it covers me for playing PS2 games which I wanted to play but when I moved out of my last apartment my roommate took his PS2 with him and also I decided to give MGS4 a shot and realized I never was much of the fan of the series and the new one didn't do much for me. Though I use the PS3 mainly as my Bluray player for BR's I get from Netflix and the occasional one I'll buy. I'm looking forward to getting Star Trek on Bluray.
PS3 has great games on it certainly (I thoroughly enjoyed Uncharted, Valykria Chronicles, and PJM) but to me many are overrated (KZ2 and Resistance). The PSP is the best thing from Sony for me. It didn't interest me much at first since I was enjoying the NDS but when the PSP-2000 came out I decided to pick one up at the first sale (and when I had some TDY to play it on) and I've enjoyed it and there's a lot of games on it that are excellent and worth playing. Also a store had tons of UMD movies for $5 and I grabbed a few like Office Space and Super Troopers. It also works great as a video player and MP3 player as it has a 8 GB flash card in it. I don't think I'll ever mod it though, that's just not my kind of thing anymore.
I'm playing through Patapon 2 and the game is like 2X longer it feels than Patapon 1 was so far and I don't know if I'm halfway done or not. It was neat they released it as a digital download and I like this direction for the PSP.
Basically give the PSP a chance.-
I got my PS3 because I paid 199$ US over 18 months ago, it was a ridiculous bargain!
I got it for God of War 3 and....... Shadow of the Colossus 2 - 18 months ago, I mean it really was just a long term dust gathering investment, I never expected to actually like it, let alone love it.
So really, I got it for no particular reason but I like many games on it and I like just 'using' it - just using the XMB is a pleasure, the whole thing is sleek and awesome.
I don't like handhelds because I have no time, whatsoever while on the go! I don't want to hold some dinky little toy, when I could be enjoying my full system.
Hanky is right tho, it does hook up to a TV, I completely forgot.-
I play my PSP when I either travel (which I do plenty of) and now I play it when I'm in bed in place of reading a book sometimes. My old job when I took the train to work was a good opportunity too and there's more games on the PSP that let me enjoy it in 30 minute spurts.
What's really cool about both NDS and PSP is playing with in ear headphones. The sound is just even more amazing than the standard speakers on them like Patapon. I mean even Brain Age sounds more incredible with earphones.
