Dark Void Developer Diary: Jetpack Joy
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 22, 2009 9:29am PDTAirtight Games' latest Dark Void developer diary explains that its jetpack is delightfully not your usual smooth, clinical, boring video game jetpack, rather "It feels like you've just strapped a 30lb rocket to your back, and when you hit the 'go' button there's that moment of chaos where your arms and legs are flailing and you- you take off." Marvellous.
Publisher Capcom has yet to announce a release date for Dark Void, which is being developed for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Producer magic!
The Tribes series did this years ago and it truly is amazing. However tribes pulled it off much better than this from the looks of it
I like the idea of being able to upgrade the jetpack and steal technology. It should hopefully mean a good progression for the game and the story.
