Already wanted the game back at release. I played the shit out of the beta, but never got around to jumping in. I (not so) secretly hope that this patch brings a Steam sale with it. Relic, if you drop this to $25 bones for a weekend, I'll probably pick copies for myself and 3 friends. Do it.

I'll be glad for just 1 more 2v2 map. I enjoy 2v2 more than I thought I would (/me waves to dudeman and Unleashed) but just 1 more 2v2 map so it's not a coin toss as to what you're playing on would be very welcome.

In terms of content, eight new multiplayer maps (seen above), ranging from 1v1 to 3v3, and the ability to spectate custom multiplayer matches will be included.

Sweet. Now let me spectate random matches and it'll be great!

Its really refreshing to see a company supporting their games like this again.

What with all the sheer greed publishers display nowadays (cough activision) throwing underpar/overpriced DLC all over us at every oportunity while the bugs remain unfixed.

Will be picking this game up at the weekend!

They only did this because I boycotted DoW3 and they quaked in their boots with my middle finger shooting back at them. So they released it for free. So keep the faith fellow L4D2 boycotters. There is still hope. With me around anyways.

Observer mode is certainly a nice addition, and more 1v1 maps are certainly nice too. Hope the beta helps to get the balance right.
