IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey Trailer Soars, 'Splodes
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 17, 2009 4:43pm PDTA new trailer for Gaijin Entertainment's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 flight sim IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey dishes up a dose of World War II dogfights and dive bombing.
On offer are over fifty missions in various roles throughout the war with difficulty levels ranging from arcade to simulation, as well as multiplayer with customisable planes.
PSP and DS versions are also under development by DYNAMICSYSTEMS and DiP Interactive respectively. All are planned for release some time this year.

is it just WW2 era planes? if not do they allow you alternate universe missions that pit your F22 against WW2 Jap Zeros? that would be fucking awesome!

I really hope after this comes out they consider making a new installment of IL-2 for the PC. The graphics in Forgotten Battles feel a lot more dated after watching this video.
Multiplayer should be more interesting as almost everyone is on equal footing with the standard controller. The the Ace Combat flight sticks probably work with this too.
Is there coop too?
