Sony Online Entertainment's latest trailer for DC Universe Online makes its super-powered MMO look fun, but the hyperbole might be too much handle. I want to wear crazy costumes and throw cars but when "the future awaits," am I up to the pressure?

New screenshots show that thankfully we can also expect happy-go-lucky psychic clown beatdown when DC Universe Online arrives on PC and PlayStation 3 in 2010.

Reminds me of SWG's ads. It's all about characters standing around in poses looking cool, while offering glimpses of gameplay that looks questionable at best and outright fabricated at worst.

SOE: All IP hype, minimal delivery. Caveat emptor.

Looks like ass.

Not that looks are everything. I've been hooked on mount and blade for like a week now and it looks like ass too.

But... I was expecting more.

It's certainly looks a lot more fun than Champions Online. I know since i am testing it.
