Lost Planet 2 Coming to PlayStation 3 Too

At long last ending the perpetual platform drama regarding Capcom's Lost Planet 2, a PlayStation 3 version of the action game sequel was confirmed at E3 last week.

Sony Computer Entertainment America CEO Jack Tretton made a passing mention of a PlayStation 3 edition during his company's press conference, dating it for early 2010.

Upon its revelation earlier this year, Lost Planet 2 was only announced for Xbox 360. Capcom later teased PC and PS3 editions, and confirmed the PC version shortly after. Given Capcom's policy against major platform exclusives, this isn't that surprising.

Still no word on the downloadable Xbox 360 demo of Lost Planet 2 that Capcom was hoping to have out around now, but the full game is due no later than March 31, 2010.

This was no surprise really, I mean the 1st was on PS3 so I don't see why the 2nd one wouldn't.

Hopefully they will take the time to make optimize it for PS3. I didn't see the sense in releasing it like a year after the 360 version with inferior graphics and poor frame rate.
