Assassin's Creed 2 Trailer Shows Gameplay

Chasing an Assassin's Creed 2 cinematic trailer and screenshots comes, at long last, in-game footage, of a mission which sees Ezio pilot Leonardo da Vinci's famous glider.

Assassin's Creed 2 is released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 17.

I just bought AC1 from the Steam sale, and I'm really enjoying it so far. The cities are so detailed and the sweeping views from the viewpoints are amazing. I'm looking forward to this next version. I'm only just starting on the 3rd assasination mission, so I'm not bored yet. Very interesting story, much different than I thought. I'm not sure how they can redo a similar scenario in AC2, but then I don't yet know how AC1 ends...

I do have a question about the current game. Can someone explain to me what the 'glitches' are when you are watching a cutscene? It said somewhere at the beginning to hit a key when you see a glitch, but I haven't noticed anything when I do. What is supposed to happen?

NEEDS MOAR MOTION BLUR.

Why cant they just convey a sense of speed or allow the action to speak for itself rather than dithering the image to a messy paste?

The only thing that doesn't look right to me is the finishing-blow animations -- it just lacks the weight and energy of the first game, and doesn't look nearly as dynamic or bone-crunching. Then again, we only saw him use 2 (discardable) weapons.

I think that those finishing-blow animations were the best part of the game. When I pull off a bunch of those in a row it's so satisfying.

The first one started off as epic, I loved the first couple of towns, then I realized that nothing in the game was going to change I gave up. I have some hope for this game even though I never finished the first. Considering I loved Prince of Persia I'll give this another go.

I really like AC... hope riding around on a horse makes a comeback, and has more to it......

But, I hate the future story stuff... and i cant stand the VR glitches...

I also think its stupid to have a polite and calm conversation in cyber-space with someone I just eviscerated.... It ruins the immersion...

why cant we just be playing "real-time," in history...

I am loving the new stuff I'm seeing, like the smoke bomb, the double wrist blade, and the mugging from haystack... I also love the festival atmosphere with the fireworks and dancing npcs...

the good of AC totally outweighs the bad for me.....

Repetitive side missions or no, I loved this game. Loved the attention to detail in the architecture. loved the free running. Looks like there's that in here, and more.

I really liked the fireworks going off in the background... awesome atmosphere.

Looks like a lot of fun. I was surprised when the guard yelled out "It's you" and was stabbed and no one seemed to even blink an eye. But some things are done for gameplay I guess.
