Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Trailer Takes Us Back

Konami has released the first trailer for Silent: Hill Shattered Memories, a reimagining of the 1999 series-starting survival horror by Silent Hill: Origins developer Climax.

While waiting for Shattered Memories to be released on Wii, PlayStation 2 and PSP this fall, you might want to check out our preview of the game from earlier in the year.

I never thought I'd say this about this game... but there looks like a small glimmer of hope that it might be good. Except Dahlia being some pre-teen trendwhore. God damnit, I hope they don't fuck with the original too much.

The Wii version controlled a lot better than I expected, swinging the flashlight around to what you wanted to see and your movement were really smooth. The only thing I didn't like was the flailing around you had to do to get the creatures off of you if they caught up, since (at least in my experience) I had to do them several times before the controller would register, and I noticed a few other people had the same problem. Despite that minor nitpick, I'm really looking forward to this.
