About time for a fresh new chatty, wouldn't you say? Sorry this one's a bit late (despite what the timestamp says), Nick and I have lost track of time in all this E3 2009 chaos.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

I thought the "Homegroup" feature of Windows 7 was pretty stupid but now that I have 3 computers in my house running 7 I have to say it's pretty awesome.

How so? I haven't really looked into it, so I'm not sure how it's different from a workgroup.

Well, it's password protected at the homegroup level (which workgroups couldn't do) so you can share files on your network without having to mess with any permissions or users and still not worry about someone being able to get to those files if they somehow got on your network.

It's also just the interface. The homegroup members are right there in the explorer window. It's just easy.

Don't know then. My 7 install of the beta is fucked do to corrupted drivers so I can't boot to it on the PC to look. The DPI is supposed to make the text bigger.
