Split/Second Races Fast, 'Splodes Often

E3 brings more media of Black Rock Studios' racer Split/Second. For the very first time, the batch features one screenshot without a single explosion (below, left).

The trailer certainly doesn't disappoint, delivering positively divine detonations--all of which are triggered by players to open new routes and, of course, crush their foes.

Published by Disney, Split/Second is set to explode onto PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next year.

So what's the diff between this and that silly Blur racer, other than it was released first. Still don't understand why racing games need 'splosions to be cool. Weapons yes, random exploding shit, not so much.
