Aliens vs. Predator Trailer and Screenshots: So Cool

Lack of anti aliasing in this day and age is inexcusable really..

why are humans still present? they are so weak and pathetic.

I hate it when games like this and Turok aren't named appropriately. Why the hell is this not called Alien vs. Predator 3? O WAIT I KNOW, because the new target market is a bunch of nabs with 360s who bummed off the film.

This'd better be as good as AVP2.

This game needs a "Horde" mode where as a team of either Marines or Predators you take on increasing waves of aliens.

That would be digital sex.

looking good, i wonder how this compares to alien's colonial marine by Gearbox?

we can make a few guesses:

-aliens colonial marines will have multiplayer, in the form of co-op, so to make sure the games dont compete against each other im betting that feature will be only available in gearbox's aliens
-avp3 will most likely allow you to choose between marine, alien and pred, but in gearbox's version its just marines as far as we know.
-the avp3 game might not have a marine campaign, again to ensure no competition between sega's products, the gearbox alien's single player campaign will probably a more fleshed out story/plot/campaign than any of the avp3 campaigns put together,
-avp3 will be more deathmatch/tdm focused and gearbox's aliens will be more co-op multiplayer focus.

I really wish I understood why people are going crazy for this game. So far everything released for this game reads "generic shooter that looks good". Add to the fact that the developer didn't even make AVP2, but instead the first one, and since then has had 13 years of developing games that range from barely competent to flat-out terrible.

This is going to kick so much multiplayer ass, it's not funny. The original is still awesome.

This looks completely awesome. I think this, Borderlands, and Diablo 3 are the main games I am looking forward to now.

Interwoven campaigns, wide and varied multiplayer, fun. If this is as good as AVP2, I will be all over this.
