Nintendo has released the first trailer for Super Mario Galaxy 2, which the company announced this morning during its E3 press conference. BOOM video 2051

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is scheduled to arrive on the Wii in 2010.

    If memory serves me right, this is the first time a Mario platforming game has had very similar gameplay and appearance to its immediate predecessor since Japan's SMB2 (aka The Lost Levels).

      I'd say SMB3 and SMW were damned close. WIthout it being on different consoles, I'd imagine them to be even closer.
