Final Fantasy 14 Coming to PS3 Exclusively in 2010
by Chris Faylor, Jun 02, 2009 12:29pm PDTWhile Final Fantasy 13 will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in spring of 2010, the next entry in the franchise, Final Fantasy 14, will launch exclusively on PS3 in 2010 as well. The announcement came this morning during Sony's E3 2009 press conference.
Titled Final Fantasy XIV Online, it appeared to be a massively multiplayer RPG in the vein of Final Fantasy XI. More details are expected as E3 continues this week.
Update: Final Fantasy XIV will also arrive on PC, Square Enix has confirmed, with the developer teasing that "adventure begins anew in the vast realm of Eorzea."

I've pretty much stopped playing most of the FF games ever since ffIX / X, mainly because the way the stories are told and the fucking characters all suck ass, not just the girly boys.
FF Versus or whatever it is with that dark looking dude owning the shit out of the army looks semi promising, but who knows what kind of pansy backstory you might have to go through, or if he gets bromanced into a love story....MEH
