First Look at Square Enix and Cavia's 'NIER'

Here's the first trailer for NIER, a new action adventure title announced by publisher Square Enix on Friday. The title is being developed by Cavia, the studio responsible for the recent Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

NIER will hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010.

attack attack attack special attack with a circle!!

how many games do they churn out with this same basic gameplay?
oh and you are wielding a HUGE sword...now thats original.

  I've put in so much more hours into Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 then most of the games for my 360. I'm sure you could consider that game as attack, attack, special attack, and repeat type of repetition.

  About half as much as they churn out those "point, click, point, click, grenade" type of games.

    I'm going to develop a game where you wield the smallest six-shooter ever made, and you need to press a different button for each bullet in the gun, in the correct order of course. How's that for skill!
