First Supreme Commander 2 Screenshot Released

The first look at the in-game content of Supreme Commander 2 has been released in the form of a single screenshot (left).

The teaser trailer for the Gas Powered Games RTS sequel was released last night, but contained no in-game footage.

Supreme Commander 2 is set for an Xbox 360 and PC release in 2010.

Given that the gameplay in Starcraft 2 seems to be mostly unchanged from the gameplay in Starcraft 1, it'll be interesting to see whether this one takes the same path.

  Based on a Chris Taylor interview gave in PC Gamer it's going in a very different direction this time. Vastly reduced emphasis on resource management, among other things.
