LEGO Indiana Jones 2 Arriving This Fall

1
Following the accidential revelation of both LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Indiana Jones 2 earlier this year, developer Traveller's Tales and publisher LucasArts today confirmed that LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is due out this fall.

Coming to PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP, LEGO Indy 2 is said to offer "a tongue-in-cheek take on all four cinematic adventures of pop culture's most iconic archaeologist," including a LEGO-ized rendition of last summer's fridge-nuking theatrical blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

How (or if) the "tongue-in-cheek" takes on the first three Indiana Jones movies will differ from those found in the first LEGO Indiana Jones game is not yet known.

The action-adventure sequel will also offer up "the ability to create levels." Apart from a tease that players will be able to build "their own fun levels brick by brick," no other details on level creation were provided.

Update: LEGO Indy 2 will revisit the first three Indiana Jones movies by reworking the levels found in the original LEGO Indiana Jones, Kotaku reports. Among the changes are additional stages, new vehicles, and new animations for Indy himself.

I will probably be buying it. Even though the first Lego Indy was my least favorite TT Lego game.
