That's your big feature necessitating a new release of the game? Wow yea, I've always dreamed of .....4 bass guitars....or 4 drum kits in the one song ! </sarcasm>
How about a high-hat pedal controller for drums? (This would be my pick above all others)
How about a pedal for guitar and bass to switch between clean/distort/effects? (shit, maybe a wah to bend notes?)
How about built-in support for midi electronic drumkits? (The learn-to-drum capacity of this feature would be enormous and maybe raise your all important profits yea?)
While you could argue the differences between say...GH1 and GH2 were minimal....we're in the era of Internet now, and this is essential a song pack.
Lazy-ass developers. And the game industry still crys the "Oh its piracy that's the problem !" card at every opportunity.
On another tangent to do with the awful game industry, has there EVER, in the history of mankind, been a good game released to coincide with a new movie release?
I'll give you a hint to the answer : N_G__I_E

But I have these games coming out of my ears and nose. I loved GH1 & 2, especially the latter, but after playing through all those songs a million times I simply don't find new songs a motivation big enough to return to these games.
Think of a new genre already! :P
