New Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor Map Detailed

5
Last week, developer Relic began talking about a new Company of Heroes (PC) patch, which would "fix some key bugs" and add a new multiplayer map for those with the Tales of Valor expansion. Now, screenshots and details of that new map have arrived.

Titled Hebecrevon, the six-player Panzerkrieg arena offers tank-based warfare in a "more wide open" setting than the existing Panzerkrieg map, Industry. Balance changes for the mode will accompany the map, such as reduced effectiveness of sticky bombs.

While Relic's community site provided a wealth of information on the map, even noting that it's "derivative of mission eleven of the original Invasion of Normandy campaign," there's still no word as to when patch 2.600 will deliver its various tweaks.

    Panzerkrieg is total crap.

I know how to fix all the balance issues and bugs with CoH. Play Men of War instead.

Men of War sucks. Company of Heroes an World In Conflict blow it out the water! Those are the only two RTS games I still play besides C&C:Red Alert 2,Yuris Revenge. As long as I have those games I doubt I'll need another RTS for a long time to come. I have been thinking of picking up Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2 though. I haven't gotten to play Tales of Valor yet or Opposing Fronts but I'll probably just get both at the same time on Steam cause that's where I own the original. Oh yea...I only play RTS games for the campaigns an skirmish modes anyways..never online.

Men of War is a FAR better game in every way. More realistic, MUCH more challenging single player, Online COOP missions. Come on man, either you've never played Men of War and are just a COH fanboy or you're an asshole.

Love COH but game starting to get a bit stale for me now. Time for COH2.

Never heard of men of war? wtf.
Screens look great so will grab the demo when I'm off.

Just ordered Men of War, reviews, screen and videos look great.

Just don't understand why I never heard of it till now... could do with some more coverage.

It was made by a Russian company, so the US marketing has been pretty terrible. I totally agree that it could use more coverage. Word is spreading, though...it's an absolutely fantastic game. I highly recommend everyone at least try the demo, keeping in mind that the full version is MUCH deeper than the rather simplistic demo.

I find Panzer Krieg to be a lot of fun, but everyone plays axis vehicles as they're a lot stronger (fucking hotchkiss).

They should also nerf that goddamn mortar bunker. Either lower the damage or remove the stun - one of them is fine - both is annoying, especially when the mortar likes to fire at spots where enemies were when you chased them off and it hits you instead.

Yeah, I have no idea what they were thinking with the Hotchkiss in Panzerkreig and the Heavy Weapon dude in the hero mode. So broken and not fun anymore.

Been playing the Men of War series since Soldiers: Heroes of WW2. They've been doing realistic damage simulation for over 5 years, yet Relic made out that CoH was the first game to do it properly. The one thing that used to hold back Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 was the lack of a proper server browser.
