        It's as absurd as your statement. You should not expect your shit to be taken or your property to be vandalized because you weren't guarding it.
        
        Will you not look for sympathy if your house is broken into when you're at work and your valuable shit is stolen? Or will you say that you should have had it locked up somewhere safer?
