The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest Revealed
by Nick Breckon, May 20, 2009 1:05pm PDTFresh off Warner Bros. Interactive's acquisition of the Lord of the Rings license, a new game set in Middle Earth is on the way from the publisher, according to an official E3 list covering debut titles.
Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is billed as "the first Lord of the Rings videogame created specifically for kids and their families." The title will feature an "accessible gameplay set in a friendly, colorful rendition of Middle-Earth."
Players will take on the role of hero Aragorn, fighting their way through various quests. Unsurprisingly, sword fighting, lancing and archery are involved.
No platform specifics or release details were included in the blurb. Shacknews has contacted Warner Bros. for more information on the game.

I guess that rules out Moria, Mordor, and Mirkwood, which are the exact opposites of friends and colourful.
