Battlefield 1943 Trailer Blows Up the Sands of Iwo Jima

DICE has released another trailer for its downloadable 24-player revival of the Battlefield 1942 formula. This particular video takes a look at the remake of classic map Iwo Jima, with classic 1942 music blaring in the background.

Battlefield 1943 hits the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in June for $15. The PC version will be out in September. Check out our interview with DICE for more information.

Does this game come with bots? (pretty sure it does but didn't read about it)

Also, does it have the 1942 intro? It's one of those I'd always watch when launching the game because it gets me pumped for it even more. (for easy reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb8PQXPOkCc)

I miss the old BF1942 theme song. Glad they are using it again.

This looks fun, I hope its as silly as the original, that's what made it so good. I want my ballistic jeep missiles back.

Haha, that's like the small cartoon version of Iwo Jima. It's like a half mile across. How cool would it be to have it to scale? I'd like to see a WWII game done like ArmA, or OpFlash, except with better gameplay.
