Brutal Legend Screenshots Raise Rob Halford's Hair

Brutal Legend publisher EA has let loose new screenshots showing some bloody lovely action and the character General Lionwhyte, played by Rob Halford of Judas Priest.

The heavy metal action adventure's all-star cast also includes Jack Black as protagonist Eddie Riggs, Lemmy from Motorhead as The Kill Master and The Runaways's Lita Ford

Developed by Grim Fandango creator Tim Schafer's studio Double Fine Productions, Brutal Legend's tour dates bring it to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 13.

If they don't screw up the execution, this is going to be GOTY, I'm calling it now. The only thing that can stop it is bugs or rushing it out before it is polished and ready. Who was the bonehead at Activision that let this title go? By this time next year, that person will be fired.

Every new bit of info I see about this game makes me salivate more. It's a game concept that is so freaking obvious now that we all see it being realized, and yet nobody thought of it until now. Heavy metal iconography brought to life in it's own heavy metal universe. I want to play this game now!
