In case there were a few of you out there that weren't already aware, thekidd is a horrible, horrible Left4Dead teammate. Seriously. Don't let him join your game and if he does manage to join your game, empty the server ASAP. If his non-functional mic buzzing in your ear doesn't get you, then his gawdawful gameplay will.

You have been warned.

On the flip side of that coin, Nick Breckon and Abagail McSponge (did you know she's Scottish?) are grand teammates who will keep you alive, but more importantly, keep you happy. Unlike thekidd who will make your bowels irritable. We would have played longer, but with him in our game Breckon and McSponge had to mix in simultaneous potty breaks. So thanks for nothing, thekidd!!/

So tonight I went and test drove some SUVs. I am thinking about trading in the BMW. After driving a Jeep Liberty Limited, Chevy Equinox, and Nissan Xterra, it is apparently obvious why Chrysler has filed for bankruptcy and Chevy is having death gurgles.

For 30,000 loaded SUVs I was amazed at how poor the fit and finish was. They just felt plastic and cheap and there were numerous places where screws were lose, plastic finishing pieces weren't attached and secure, etc....

The Nissan Xterra which was a base model felt better. I was amazed at the difference in quality. Going to go drive an FJ tommorrow. I have a feeling I am going to enjoy it.

Let Chrysler and GM crash and burn along with the unions.

repost for night crowd.

I have been drinking coffee forever. The past couple of months I just cannot finish the cup I make in the morning. I also started to feel worse when I drink coffee, just an I don't feel so hot thing. A couple of days ago I was in the grocery store and saw one of those Naked Protein smoothies so I bought 2 of them drank one and saved the other for in the morning. Well I drank it and felt a shitload better through my day. I am just going to quit drinking the coffee altogether now.

Problem. They are fucking expensive. Do any of you smoothie drinking menz make them yourself? If so what are good recipes that you like and could you share? Thanks. I know I could go on google but this is where I like to go for this shit. Thanks

I'm revisiting The Wrath of Khan since the new Star Trek movie rocked.

God damn, this movie is awesome. Pine's Kirk is very good, but nothing beats a cocky William Shatner giving an great performance as Kirk, seriously.

I need this movie on Blu-ray, but I don't want the whole bloody collection, ugh.

My wife needs a new video card. She's on a crappy P4 rig right now but this card will also go in to the machine she's upgrading to in a month or so.

It needs to be on the cheaper end.

I refuse to go with ATI because I have had years and years and years of horrible experiences with their drivers and even a friend who has one now, the only one of my friends with an ATI, is the only one to have weird-ass driver issues at LAN parties.

So nVidia it is. However, I am wondering how much better the GTX 260 is compared to the 9800 GTX+? The price difference is $50, or a 40% increase which is pretty significant. So before I pull the trigger on the 9800 I want to make sure it's not a huge mistake!

I think Terminator 2 may be the best special effects/stunts action movie ever. Sure it was one of the first movies to do CGI but some of the stunt scenes were just unreal, the bike jump, the copter chase, and the part where the T-800 flips the semi. Most of those stunts could have been done with CGI today but watching the movie again is just great and I miss some of the stunts that have been replaced by CGI. Sure we have bond but thats pretty much it.

I get to make a cheat sheet, front and back, for an exam tomorrow. I just wanted to put on some slides from .pdf's that had examples and some answers and problems from out homework assignments that are on Word documents. Is there any easier way to do this other than copying each slide as an image and pasting it on a blank document and shrinking them one by one? :(

Rogers is a horrible horrible ISP.

e are writing to inform you that on July 1, 2009, your Flickr Pro account included with your Rogers Hi-Speed Internet service will change to a free Flickr account. The free Flickr service has many of the same features as Pro, but is subject to some limits.

Your existing photos or videos will not be deleted as a result of this change. If you have more than 200 photos in the free Flickr account, only the most recent 200 are displayed.

They took away nntp, then fucked with BT, then with all SSL traffic, then the bw limits on their "unlimited" service, and now this.
