The Beatles: Rock Band Replica Bass Revealed

Last week, we got a look at the Rickenbacker 325 and Gretsch Duo Jet replica controllers that Harmonix will be selling alongside The Beatles: Rock Band when the game hits 9/9/09.

Now, The Beatles: Rock Band Pre-Order Club has revealed the forthcoming replica of Sir Paul McCartney's Hofner bass (pictured left).

While the Rickenbacker 325 and Gretsch Duo Jet controllers will be sold separately, at $100 a pop, thus far, the Hofner looks to be only available in the $250 Limited Edition Premium Bundle. Along with the Hofner, the ultra-pricey bundle packs a copy of the game, a microphone, a mic stand, and "Beatles-inspired" Rock Band 2 drums.

But for the benefit of Mr. Kite, don't despair too much about the high costs--the instruments are an investment, as Harmonix notes that the forthcoming PS3, X360 and Wii controllers will be compatible with all Rock Band titles for the respective consoles.
