OK, I am one of the guys playing the beta. First of all, we speak Dutch and not German ;-). Second, in response to a lot of people asking where we got the full beta, it's really quite simple. Eidos Belgium gave it to us to preview and "kickstart" it. We didn't realize we had a world exclusive here, but so the better. Anyway, the game plays nicely in multiplayer, but not in single since it tends to crash the computer when we try to load a game.
Expect more kickstarts of the other levels in the weeks to come, and maybe they will be in asf-format. We first have to get a decent encoder to do that ;-)

Daikatana is rumored to be working on a line of related toys called the Daikatana Pocket Pals. These stuffed characters won't be released until they pass safety inspection, so look for them to hit shelves around 2003.

What's even funnier than that footage is the voices of the foreigners playing it. They speak 1/2 English & 1/2 German(?). That's worth the D/L by itself. The game looks a lot better than I thought, though it's hard to tell from just an .rm. I'd never seen it before.

'k, I've been like 1 of 3 DK supporters here for a while, and now I still want DK, but now I say FUCK ION STORM...
