Isn't reality television horrid? Of course it is. How disheartening then, that Black Rock Studio--developer of Pure--is turning its hand to reality television with Split/Second.

Except rather than sitting around talking drivel, contestants are in a high-speed race and trigger massive explosions to open new routes and smash each other to pieces. Super.

Published by Disney, Pure zooms onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in early 2010.

Please GOD let there be local multiplayer. Pure was fun, but it got old REAL quick when you couldn't race on local multiplayer on PS3. Never picked it up for my 360.
