Beyond Good & Evil 2 Concept Video Leaks?

BG&E will forever hold a spot in my top games every played.

I hope they dub it again in Dutch. I would NEVER play a game in another language than English but the Dutch version of Beyond Good and Evil was soooo well done, I just need it again in BG&E!

Also Spongebob in Dutch is way better than in English :p

100% graphics, 0% gameplay. Looks beautiful, but there's no game concept here.

Man, Ubisoft is really milking the gameplay from the Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia Series.

Looks fun, but not very much like BGE1 gameplay-wise.

The theme and main character were spot-on, though.

I'd rather have a game like the original BGE than a AC/PoP/Mirror's Edge clone. I'm not saying it would be bad, but I enjoy variety and we've already got some really nice games filling out that genre.

How is the first one of this game? And whats the best place to buy online (playnow) website?

Obviously the new cinematic does a lot of things that would be difficult to manage in game (camera movements that make it hard to figure out where one can go next, for example). It's not totally at odds with the original game, though.

Not really much doubt this is BG&E2 considering the character is the exact same from the announcement trailer so long ago and what little you hear of the woman voice is spot on for Jade.

I like the more realistic direction they're taking this time around, just hope they keep that fantastic surreal soundtrack style the original game had. And for those complaining it doesn't seem like the original, did you completely miss all the chase and running scenes in the first game? I remember reading somewhere than Ancel, the lead developer, had always wanted to take a more realistic approach but was held back by what they were capable of at the time so I'm not really surprised.

On that note Ancel is french, so it's not really 'that' surprising that this would be leaked onto a french website. If anything it just supports the idea that this is BG&E2.

What the fuck is wrong with people here, did anyone actually play Beyond Good and Evil. Saying that this video is not what the game should be is utter bullshit, the original had so many different gameplay styles, racing, platforming, stealth, photography, puzzles, etc. etc. This will of course be ONE aspect of the game, and it looks amazing and much better than most parkour games that have been released already like Mirror's Edge or Prince of Persia.

I trust that it is not being compromised by Ubisoft all that much, Ancel is a great developer, I trust he knows what he's doing.

I don't see what's so weird about this cinematic. Jade was this acrobatic in the first game!

That's pretty radically different from the original. Interesting. I hate to mash up, but that looked like Mirror's Edge meets Assassin's Creed in a modern day setting (that didn't look or feel like the BG&E world).

That is definately the same model that was used in the teaser, however it really doesn't look like Beyond Good and Evil. Perhaps it's a proof of concept and they just used that model as an asset because they already had it. I'm assuming it wasn't intended to be leaked.

Man what a different looking game from the original. I'd be pissed out of my wits if they did something like this to the "Legacy of Kain" series.

There's some joke lurking in here about Assassin's Creed gameplay and a different Jade, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Certainly looked cool. Ive been waiting for a good/fun game that gives you as much freedom of motion as Assassin's Creed did.

This definitely made me moist with anticipation. I just hope some of the same people are involved in this.
