Call of Duty 4 Sales Pass 13 Million Mark

40
Activision publishing CEO Mike Griffith today noted that the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has now sold over 13 million copies.

Call of Duty 4 was first released in November 2007, and had maintained its full retail price until recently. The title had sold 10 million copies by June 2008. The logical sequel, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, is now set for release on November 10, 2009.

I wonder what the breakdown is like across platforms.

Hell, I just want to know how the DS version sold. Probably n-Space's best selling game.

It's not bad, either! The later levels kind of wear out their welcome, but overall it's surprisingly well executed and rather than attempting to port the game over (lol @ Medal of Honor Underground on GBA), they built a unique side story to the main campaign (kind of like what happened with the PS2 and DS World at War games).

Pretty fucking awesome engine, though digging around has me wanting to check out the Bionicle Heroes DS game now, because I keep hearing that that game is the bee's knees.

Believe it or not it was good, the control scheme destroys a gamepad.
