          I use the 6i's for exercising because they are cheaper ($75-80), but definitely not the 4s. But that could be my paranoia, since these seem to hold up really well. My cousin also has a pair of 4s that are now like 8 years old and going as strong as ever and he uses them everyday at work (software dev) and generally rides them pretty hard. Likewise, despite the appearance, my Etys have all held up really well. You only need to change the filters once a year or so to keep your ear gunk from gumming up the sound (and that process is trivial and cheap)
