Morning Discussion

In sunnier news, I'm excited about the upcoming StarCraft 2 beta. Nick badgered me into playing StarCraft recently and it seems we've finally found a game he's better at than me. Hopefully SC2's changes throw him off enough for me to win at least one round.

2) Covop frigs aren't really combat ships. Their specialty is using scan probes to find exploration sites or enemy ships. If you want to fly a cloaking frig that can actually blow people up, go for a Stealth Bomber.
3) Recon ships are the bee's knees, man. Although if you want to have a really exciting time in Recons, cross train into a different race's cruisers, because while the Falcon has its upsides, its usefulness pales in comparison to what something like the Arazu can do.
4) Black ops are overpriced and extremely specialized at the moment. Nearly impractical for most everyone. Getting really good with a Recon cruiser is almost more useful than a black ops right now, especially since black ops can't warp cloaked, while recons and covops/stealth bombers can.
They're good goals, for sure, though. Stealth ships take their own brand of finesse to be successful with.
