by Nick Breckon, May 06, 2009 1:43pm PDTThe upcoming downloadable Star Trek title, Star Trek DAC, is now set for a May 13 release on Xbox Live according to an MTV report.
The arcadey title will see players choosing between the Federation and Romulan factions to battle it out in top-down space maps. Each faction has three classes of ships with which to make interstellar war: flagship, fighter and bomber. Up to 12 players can compete online across traditional deathmatch modes and base-centric variants Conquest and Assault.
DAC will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10). The game is also planned for a PC and PlayStation Network release down the road.
