Morning Discussion
by Alice O'Connor, May 05, 2009 7:00am PDTWith Plants vs. Zombies not unlocking on Steam for another four hours, I suppose we might as well do some video games in the meantime. Today at Shacknews I shall discover whether it's worse to babysit someone or to cover for them.
I suspect covering is worse. Sure, babysitting means I have to wipe their snotty noses and remind them to eat lunch, but when a new Katamari Damacy trailer arrives and glee fills their ruddy jam-smeared ruddy faces, oh it warms the cockles of my heart.

WHAT IS THE NEW SHIT?
I need a new game to play. I just had a baby and I can't go anywhere or do anything for like months now so I need something to keep me busy at home. I have a gaming PC, 360 and PS3.
I am SO OVER world of warcraft. I tried playing EvE Online for the past couple of weeks and it's cool in it's own way but it isn't "fun" enough to play for any length of time. It isn't sucking me in all that much. I don't need an MMO, but I need something that is going to at least have some legs to it. Crackdown was fucking badass but I played through it in like 3 days. Something FPS, RTS, or RPG is what i'm looking for. I was thinking DoW2 but I played the MP demo a couple times and it didn't immediately grab me. I might not have given this one a chance.
