Battlestations: Pacific PC Demo Released

I must say this demo is seriously fun. The planes flight model feel really good - once you get the hang of it.

A) you have no option on where it installs (ie c:/ )
B) runs really terrible with ati crossfire/X2 (need to disable a card)

So how is it?

I am having some serious pain in the butt installing this game, first the download comes as a .zip of a .exe so you have to have double the space to extract the .zip and then delete it. Thats the first WTF, then once you run the .exe it takes FOREVER for it to decompress and once it does, it wont let you install if you don't have enough space on your main drive, even if you have over 500GB on another hard drive. I chose the main install folder on the 500Gb of free space HD and it complains about only having 3 Gb left on C drive? Excuse me, but WTF? Plus the fact that the auto decompressing .exe is taking up space on the C drive itself, because it doesn't install straight from the .exe you download, but forces YET ANOTHER duplicate of itself in the temp folder.

Forget it. I just deleted the whole thing. If they couldn't get the installation right, the game is probablw awful.

Not getting my money.

This is going to be hard-pressed to live up to the awesomeness that is "Euro Truck Simulator"

Just finished having my way with the demo. Friggin SWEET.

As long as this isn't another casual abomination like H.A.W.X, I'll be happy.
