It didn't have to be an exact remake of RE2, failing that a remake with RE4 Wii style gameplay (where action is a bigger focus) would have be fan-fucking-tastic. RE4 Wii sold really well, and is of a much better opinion than fucking Umbrella Chronicles, why would you do this?

You know I've always wanted to play the resident evil series but never found the time to get all 4 or 5 of the main story games and play through them. Is this title just a first person account of the stories of some of the previous titles or just one of those things that lets you play small sections of the more memorable parts of previous games so Capcom can milk the franchise and make a quick buck?
I guess really the question I'm asking, is if I was only interested in the story/entertainment value of the franchise would this be a good way to experience was has already passed?
