ArmA 2 Screenshots Airdrop European Release Date

ArmA 2 reinforcements have arrived, bringing fresh screenshots and a European PC release date of June 26 for Bohemia Interactive Studio's battlefield simulator.

The aircraft on show here are just several of the over 50 vehicle types at your disposal to help keep the peace in 240 square kilometres of fictional former Soviet state.

Developer of the original Operation Flashpoint, Bohemia face competition this summer from Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising--an "official" sequel Bohemia has vilified.

There's no official word of a specific North American release date yet but it's expected this year. All remains quiet on the potential "next gen console" version front.

I'm doubting my ol' c2d 2.2, 2 gig ram, 8800gts 320 will be able to cut it anymore these days, hopefully there'll be a demo to test it first..

I don't have the funds to upgrade anymore so I'm moving towards my 360, which is kinda sad :(

Hope this game delivers tho :)

Hmmm, I never played OpFlash or ArmA but this has me intrigued. Is this like BF2 in any way, or does the realism get in the way of the fun for us more non-milsim oriented gamers?

Just as ACE is out and will be hitting its stride too :/ I wonder if porting addons is viable.

After the last launch I would just wait for the US release personally anyway
