Continuing today's Capcom craziness, the publisher has announced that the Xbox 360-only Bionic Commando multiplayer demo will arrive on Wednesday, April 29.

The demo packs one map, which supports deathmatch play for up to eight gamers. Capcom previously told Shacknews that it had "no plans" to release the demo on PC and PlayStation 3, and likewise had no plans for a single-player demo at the time.

Alongside the demo date, Capcom provided a new trailer for the game, viewable below:

GRIN's modern revamp of the classic swinging franchise hits retailers in PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 form on May 19, with the PC version due out "shortly after."

I'm excited to try this out. GRIN has been very busy with this game, Wanted, Terminator Salvation, and the remake of BC1 less than a year ago, hopefully the game holds up.

Yeah, definitely need a demo for this. The bionic commando remake was great, but Wanted was a turd.
