Ghostbusters Intro Conjures 80s Magic

The opening cinematic for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Ghostbusters has appeared as a GameTrailers exclusive. Be prepared for a load of nostalgia, complete with a theme song most veterans of the 1980s know far too well.

All versions of Ghostbusters, including the PS2, Wii and DS iterations, hit June 16.

God forbid they leave any original work un-remade in this horrible era of zero creativity that we find ourselves stuck in. Looks like crap. And where's the GAMEPLAY? Is it a game they're making, or a movie?

I can't believe how awesome that intro is. Although I have to wonder what idiot thought it was a good idea to have a Gozer exhibit after the events of the first film.

I think I'm ready for this and a movie, but I'm glad this comes without some company looking to make money off a recent sequel. This seems to give more credibility that it was made with the idea to make a great game, and not just to make a load of cash.

Don't know why it's shameful to admit what a fan I was of the first movie, but this just brought back all the memories of childhood and that period of time. The thought of being blessed with a continuation of this wonderful series, with the same actors and everything, just makes be gooey with antici-pation. Please oh please don't suck.

This trailer is really cool, same thing as what you would expect at the intro of Ghostbusters 3 movie, if there was such a thing ( by the way, I wonder why they never made a GB3 ).

And when the theme song came on near the end, I just started laughing.. thinking OH YEAH! This really is Ghostbusters!

Hahaha.. I'm so happy that they have the real voice actors, it's gonna make the game alot more enjoyable.. although im so sad that Sigourney and Moranis didnt wanna be part of it!!

BUHU I love sigourney.. Aliens. And Moranis is very funny. Nevermind.. it will still be all good.

But Sigourney and Moranis if you're reading this.. change your minds if its not ( which it is ) too late!

This game appears to have made a lot of positive progress from when I first saw the prototype trailers of the game nearly two years ago. I'm now actually interested in the game due to this trailer revealing the Gozer exhibit.

Plus if that theme song plays during the final boss, I'm sold.
